News: Popular WordPress plugin vulnerability – ALERT!
“Advanced Custom Fields” plugin for WordPress is putting more than two million users at risk of cyberattacks, warns Patchstack researcher Rafie Muhammad. This is a popular plugin that can be found on many older WordPress sites. You need to immediately update the plugin to 6.1.6. The hack allows unauthorized users the ability to get user logins, passwords, and data and allows them access to their website content. This is particularly dangerous for Admins and you can find yourself locked out of your own website.
